Understanding V30, U3 and Read/Write Speed

Storage performance labels answer different questions. A maximum read speed describes how quickly compatible equipment may retrieve data, while a maximum write speed describes the upper write performance reached under stated test conditions.

What V30 means

V30 is a Video Speed Class designation. It indicates a minimum sustained video capture rate of 30MB/s when used with compatible host devices. It is not the same claim as a card's maximum write speed.

Zamiee High Endurance performance

The approved product specification is up to 100MB/s read speed and up to 40MB/s write speed. V30 indicates a minimum sustained 30MB/s video capture rate. Actual performance can be lower depending on the host device, file attributes and usage conditions.

Choose for the workload

For continuous recording, confirm that the camera supports the card capacity and relevant speed class. Full HD and 4K UHD support varies by device, and 4K recording reduces the total number of recording hours available.
